Our story

Deep Space Glow is founded, owned and run by one woman, a working scientist, and everything it sells is made by her here in Australia.

There are two lines, and they are equals. Beauty is cosmetics formulated and manufactured in-house, with skin-loving ingredients and a shade range built to be worn on every tone. Accessories is bags and purses, cut and sewn one at a time in leather and textiles. Two systems, same galaxy.

What "vegan and cruelty-free" covers

The cosmetics are vegan and cruelty-free, with no animal testing at any stage.

That claim is about the cosmetics, and it stays there. The bags are made from leather and from textiles, so each one lists its own materials on its own product page rather than sheltering under a statement about the whole shop. A claim that cannot be made about everything should not be made about everything.

One at a time

The bags are sewn on a sewing machine, not by hand and not down an assembly line: one bag at a time, by the person who owns the shop. When one sells there is not another like it, which is why each carries its own photographs rather than a stock image of a range.
